1. Changing times need exceptional leaders
\n<\/strong>
\nRafiki in the Disney animated film, \u2018The Lion King\u2019, responds to Simba\u2019s winds of change, \u201cAhh, change is good.\u201d
\nIn the book,\u00a0The Charisma Machine<\/strong><\/em>, Morgan Ames spotlights the new constant: \u201cWhat we have here is a whole world view and a whole different world.\u201d<\/p>\n

2. Re-colouring the conventional canvas
\n<\/strong>
\nIn this rapidly changing, whole different world, where education is primarily just about acquiring degrees and certificates, it is essential to nudge forward the imperative of nurturing character. There is an urgent need to consciously paint the 21st-century skills of empathy, problem-solving, innovating, critical thinking, and change-making as indispensable colours on the tabula rasa of students.<\/p>\n

A question arises! In the rush of academia, how do we empower ODMians with these skills and facilitate their readiness to lead the change within and around them?<\/p>\n

The answer lies in CPX, a program designed to nurture the primary greatness of students so that they become good human beings.
\nThrough CPX, our mission is to inspire ODMians to hone their talents and energy into driving change around the world, no matter which future path they choose.<\/p>\n

3. Sowing the seeds of Phronesis Development
\n<\/strong>
\nThrough its sui generis CPX Program, ODM Educational Group believes that educators and parents can plant the seeds of phronesis development (practical wisdom) from a very early age by exposing the child to the practice of seeking and giving good reasons for actions, and learning to reflect on what kind of a person the child wants to be once s\/he \u2018grows up\u2019. ODMians reflect on their actions, goals, and the trajectory of their daily lives through Character Journal, Goal Setting, Service Log, and thoughtfully designed Thinking Routines.<\/p>\n

4. Beyond Textbooks- Learn to Contribute
\n<\/strong>
\nCPX facilitates ODMians to be life-ready. The 360-degree education that ODM offers is designed to go far beyond textbooks and the classroom.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe then become witnesses to the development of the human soul; the emergence of the New Man, who will no longer be the victim of events but, thanks to his clarity of vision, will become able to direct and to mold the future of mankind.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

This quote perfectly sums up the vision of the CPX Program, which aims to nourish the soul as much as it feeds the intellect.<\/p>\n

ODMians become a more radiant version of themselves through their thoughtfully selected Social Entrepreneurship Projects. They rehearse the innate CPX IDEALS of Integrity, Collaboration, Humility, Perseverance, and Service by working in teams. By fostering an environment of out-of-the-box thinking, a spirit of joy in contributing is kept alive and active in a way that children see as fun and productive. This creates a space where learning and changemaking are cherished.<\/p>\n

5. Finding one\u2019s Telos (purpose of life) and serving a world beyond the self
\n<\/strong>
\n\u201cAn education capable of saving humanity is no small undertaking; it involves the spiritual development of man, the enhancement of his value as an individual, and the preparation of young people to understand the times in which they live.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Through CPX, we intend to ignite a purpose in each ODMian\u2019s life, in congruence with what William Damon said, in his book\u00a0The Path to Purpose<\/em><\/strong>, \u2018a stable and generalised intention to accomplish something that is at the same time meaningful to the self and consequential for the world beyond the self\u2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Let us strive to give ODMians two lasting bequests, one is roots, the other, wings!<\/p>\n
